About

Commuter Dons at Victoria University actively engage in forming and developing a campus community supportive of the academic and developmental goals of the institution. The Don is responsible for assisting and advising campus students, maintaining reasonable levels of conduct, safety, and security, and encouraging campus activities, events and educational programs. The aim of the Commuter Don is to cultivate a healthy campus environment for commuter students.

You can think of Commuter Dons as student mentors or facilitators who are available to help students who live off-campus with personal, academic, financial or social matters. We are a great resource to help you connect to the College and University. The Commuter Dons are commuters who have experienced first-hand the struggles and benefits of commuting.

You can talk to us about anything, whether you are having difficulty adjusting to university life or simply want to chat and connect, please stop by! We are here to create a campus environment that is more friendly and welcoming to you.
